Police are investigating after a burglar stole a dog during a break-in in Kingsville.

Sometime between 4:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, an individual entered a home in the 11900 block of Jerusalem Road (21087).

Once inside, police say the suspect stole some change and a pit bull.

Authorities believe the suspect may have been known to the victim.
