Metro PCS store robbed, Restoration Temple vandalized

police-lightsPolice are investigating a robbery, a burglary, and an attempted burglary that were reported this week.

At just before 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 12, an armed individual entered the Metro PCS store located in the 400 block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221) and displayed a long gun under his jacket sleeve. The suspect demanded the a cell phone and money from the register. The suspect then fled on foot.

Sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, an individual entered a residence in the 9600 block of 10th Avenue in Parkville (21234). Once inside, the suspect stole a television, a game system, and two games.

At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, 9:57 p.m., two individuals broke the front glass door of the Restoration Temple, located in the 5200 block of Hamilton Avenue (21206), with a rock. They entered through the broken window but fled on foot after the alarm began to sound. No property was taken.
