Could it be time for the boundaries for public elementary schools in northeastern Baltimore County to change?
On Monday, the Board of Education of Baltimore County will receive, for consideration and approval, a report from the Northeast Area Elementary Community Boundary Study Committee recommending boundary changes to schools in the region to help relieve overcrowding.
The recommendation, known as “Option C,” includes Carney, Chapel Hill, Gunpowder, Joppa View, Kingsville, Oakleigh, Perry Hall, Seven Oaks, and Vincent Farm elementary schools.
The Board public hearing on the recommended boundary change is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Perry Hall Middle School at 6:30 p.m.
Perry Hall Middle School is located at 4300 Ebenezer Road (21236).
The Board will vote on the recommendation at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
