Residents of Nottingham and the surrounding communities were shaken by an earthquake on Thursday afternoon.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports that a 4.4-magnitude earthquake hit Delaware Bay not far from Dover Base Housing in Delaware. Some sources indicate that the quake may have been as strong as a 5.5-magnitude.
The temblor was felt all along the East Coast from New York City to Baltimore.
There have been no reports of any damage or injuries so far.
