Baltimore County officials say that a historic Kingsville bridge will be closed for a portion of this week for maintenance.

The Department of Public Works will close the Jericho Road covered bridge over the Gunpowder Falls on Wednesday, November 1, and Thursday, November 2.

Crews will clean the bridge, tighten its bolts, and make routine repairs.

The bridge will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.

The historic landmark was renovated, rededicated, and reopened in April of last year.
