Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place in Middle River early Friday morning.
At just before 2:00 a.m., police responded to the 9900 block of Bird River Road near Campbell Boulevard (21220) for a fatal crash.
Authorities determined that a 2005 Chevrolet Colorado truck was traveling westbound on Bird River Road when the truck left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as Adam Stansbury, 27, of Essex, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stansbury was the only occupant inside the truck.
Police are continuing their investigation into this incident.
