Police are investigating a shooting that was reported in Middle River on Wednesday night.

At about 8 p.m., officers responded to Akin Circle and found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the man was shot in the upper body following a dispute.

The suspect then fled the scene.

There has been no word on the victim's condition.
