A Carney man is dead after being shot by an unknown suspect early Thursday morning.
The victim, 32, whose identity has not yet been released, was shot once in the upper body after parking his car along Swampscott Court, 21234, at about 2 a.m.
As he and his girlfriend were walking from the car to the building an individual approached, shot the man, then fled the scene. The victim’s girlfriend was unharmed.
Police believe that the victim was targeted by the suspect and are asking anyone with information on this crime to contact police at 410-307-2020.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Baltimore County Homicide Unit.
