A crash in Parkville shut down a busy intersection on Saturday evening. At about 6 p.m., emergency crews responded to Joppa Road at Perring Parkway for a report of an accident. 

The extent of any injuries is unknown but the intersection is currently closed in all directions for crash cleanup. 

All traffic is being detoured onto alternate routes. 

Motorists should expect delays in the area.
