House fire reported in Parkville

Crews are on the scene of a Tuesday afternoon house fire in Parkville. At just after 4:30 p.m., fire personnel responded to the 3000 block of Texas Avenue (21234). At the scene, firefighters found a basement fire in the dwelling. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.

Police investigate robbery, 3 burglaries

Police are investigating a robbery and three burglaries that were over the past this week. Sometime between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, a suspect entered a residence in the 8000 block of Old Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) and stole a vehicle key, personal identity items, and a wallet.
