Police seek help locating possible witness to fatal Rosedale crash

ford focus RS comboPolice in Baltimore County are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle and driver and/or occupants that may have information in reference to a fatal crash that occurred on October 14 on Philadelphia Road.

Police are looking for a darker colored, possibly green, Ford Focus RS, between the model years of 2003 to 2009. The vehicle is modified with low profile rally style rims, a lowered body, an after-market exhaust, and may be turbo equipped.

At about 11:30 p.m. on October 14, this vehicle was seen exiting the outer loop of I-695 at Philadelphia Road and heading west at the same time a Hyundai Genesis 2H was seen passing vehicles on Philadelphia Road just before it lost control and crashed into a house, killing the driver, 28-year-old Gary Auberg.

The Ford Focus RS was also seen continuing westbound on Philadelphia Road west of Golden Ring Road just after the crash occurred. The vehicle was not involved in the crash but investigators would like to speak with the driver and/or any occupants of the vehicle to determine what information, if any, they may have in reference to the crash.

Robbery reported at Beltway Plaza, ATM theft attempt at Walgreens

police-lightsPolice are investigating a robbery and an ATM theft attempt that were reported over the weekend.

At about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, two individuals approached the victims in the Beltway Plaza parking lot in the 7600 block of Belair Road (21236) and demanded the victims’ property. The suspects stole the victims’ IDs, money, bank card, watch, and phones before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

At just before 5 a.m. on Monday, November 20, two individuals drove a truck through the storefront of the Walgreens located in the 400 block of Compass Road in Middle River (21220). The men attempted to steal the ATM from inside but were unsuccessful. The suspects then stole an empty register drawer and packs of cigarettes.

Shoplifters hit Nottingham Walmart, burglary reported in White Marsh

Police LightsPolice are investigating a report of shoplifting and a burglary that were reported over the past week.

At about 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, a shoplifter was pursued by an officer working security at the Walmart located in the 8100 block of Perry Hills Court (21236). The suspect fled the scene in a second suspect’s vehicle. One of the two suspects was arrested.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 20, an individual entered a residence in the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road in White Marsh (21162) via an unlocked front window.  The suspect stole five video games before fleeing the scene.

Robberies reported in Essex, Rosedale

robberyPolice are investigating robberies that were reported over the weekend in the Essex and Rosedale areas.

At 7:15 p.m. on Friday, November 17, an individual approached a pizza delivery driver in the 900 block of Foxridge Lane (21221), and implying a gun, demanded the driver give him his money. The victim gave the suspect his money and the suspect then fled the scene on foot.

At just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, At 3:04 p.m., a man was walking in the area of Back River Neck Road and Middleborough Road (21221) when he was approached from behind by three individuals. The suspects took the victim’s prescription drugs and cash and then fled.

At just before 10 p.m. on Sunday,  a man exited his vehicle on Boymans Court (21206) and was approached by two individuals. One of the suspects displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s money. The victim gave the suspect his money along with his house and car keys. Both suspects then fled the scene.
