Police are investigating two carjackings and an attempted ATM theft that were reported on Sunday.
At just before 1:15 a.m., three individuals entered a man’s car in the 2100-block of Redthorn Road in Middle River (21220). One of the suspects displayed a handgun, then they took the victim’s vehicle, money, and two cell phones.
At just after 4 a.m., two individuals approached another individual in the 9100-block of Oswald Way in Rosedale (21237). At gunpoint, the suspects stole the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered.
At just before 4:15 a.m., two individuals struck a SECU bank ATM in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Fullerton (21236) with a skid loader in an attempt to remove it from the location. The suspects were not successful.
Police are investigating a handful of crimes that were reported this week.
At 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, a contractor arrived at a residence in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue in Essex (21221) to complete construction work. He encountered an individual who had broken into the residence. The armed suspect robbed the contractor of his wallet containing cash, and then fled with another suspect who was there as a lookout. The wallet was recovered without the cash.
Sometime between 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, and 4 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, an individual shattered the front door of Tandori Kabab and Grill, located in the 8700 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspect stole the cash register containing cash.
Sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, an individual broke into an on Swampscott Court in Parkville (21234). Once inside, the suspect stole two TVs, jewelry, and a keyboard.
At 8:45 p.m. on Thursday, a food delivery driver was making a delivery in the 9200 block of Oswald Way in Rosedale (21237) when four individuals approached and assaulted him. The suspects then took the food and his vehicle keys, then fled the scene in the delivery driver’s vehicle.
At just after 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, a man was jogging past a group of teenagers in the area of Kintore Drive at Walther Boulevard (21236) when one of the teens ran behind him, threatened him, and pointed a gun at him. The victim ran away and called 911 when he returned home.
Police are investigating two local robberies that were reported on Saturday.
At just after 8 a.m. on November 18, an individual pepper-sprayed the victim and stole a cell phone from the victim in the 9200 block of Oswald Way in Rosedale (21237).
At 8 p.m., a group of juveniles approached a man in the parking lot at White Marsh Mall, knocked him to the ground, and stole his cell phone and sneakers. Police say the suspects were placed under arrest shortly thereafter.
Police are investigating several robberies and burglaries that were reported this week.
At about 11:45 a.m. on Monday, October 9, three individuals entered the CVS on Compass Road in Middle River (21220) and demanded money. The suspects stole cash and numerous pharmaceuticals. Two suspects and two juvenile suspects were arrested.
At about 10 p.m. on Monday, an individual shattered the front door glass of the Kane Bag & Tarp, located in the 1200 block of 67th Street in Rosedale (21237). It is unknown if entry was made and it appeared that nothing was taken.
Also at about 10 p.m. on Monday, an individual used unknown means to crack the front door glass of Aire-Craft Heating & Cooling, also located in the 1200 block of 67th Street in Rosedale (21237). No entry was made.
Sometime between 7:30 p.m. on October 9 and 7:30 a.m. on October 10, an individual attempted to break into Granite Mr LLC, located in the 7500 block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237). The suspect cracked the front door but failed to gain entry.
Sometime between 11 p.m. on October 9 and 5 a.m. on October 10, an individual cut two holes in the fence at the BGE site located in the 9700 block of Belair Road (21236). Copper hand coils and covered copper wire were stripped and stolen.
At 11 p.m. on Tuesday, an individual broke the glass door window to gain entry into Landers Appliance, located in the 7000 block of Golden Ring Road in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect removed cash from the register and fled the scene.
Sometime between 2:30 p.m. on October 10 and 1:30 a.m. on October 11, an individual entered an apartment in the 9100 block of Oswald Way (21236) via an unlocked bedroom window. The suspect stole two handguns before fleeing.
Police are investigating a pair of local burglaries that were reported over the past week.
Sometime between 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, and 5 a.m. on Thursday, August 3, an individual entered a residence in the 3700 block of Putty Hill Avenue in Nottingham (21236) via an open garage door. Once inside, the suspect stole various items and also ransacked the victim’s vehicle in the driveway.
Sometime between 1:30 and 7:30 a.m. on Friday, August 4, an individual suspect entered a residence in the 9200 block of Oswald Way in Rosedale (21237) and stole a computer before fleeing the scene.
