Massive party in Parkville elicits police response

Police responded to the scene of a massive party that disrupted a quiet Carney neighborhood on Thursday night.

At about 7:30 p.m., officers responded to Krause Park on Old Harford Road for a report of a disturbance.

An estimated crowd of over 100 people had gathered in the park. Witnesses at St. Isaac Jogues church, located next door to the park, reported seeing individuals with alcohol and marijuana on church grounds.

The loud party reportedly disrupted evening events that were taking place at the church.

The incident was said to be an end-of-school-year party for Morgan State University students.

It is unclear whether the event was sanctioned by Morgan State.
