Police investigating 2 robberies, attempted robbery

robberyPolice are investigating two robberies and an attempted robbery that were reported on Saturday.

At just before 9 a.m., an armed individual robbed a man of his his cell phone, jacket, and wallet in the area of Berkshire Road and Magnolia Terrace in Essex (21221). The suspect then fled the scene.

At about 5:20 p.m., a man told another man that he was going to go through the his pockets in the area of Eastern Boulevard and North Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221). The suspect then struck the victim twice and fled the scene on foot. Nothing was taken from the victim.

At 8 p.m., a juvenile suspect stole a cell phone from another juvenile at White Marsh Mall. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Kingsville business burglarized; Essex woman robbed

police-lightsPolice are investigating a burglary and a robbery that were reported over the weekend.

Sometime between 9:45 and 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, three individuals broke into Electronic Works Inc., located in the 12100 block of Belair Road in Kingsville (21087), as well as a shed on the property. All three suspects were apprehended at the scene and the stolen items were recovered.

At 6 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, a man assaulted a woman in the 800 block of North Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221) and stole her cell phone.  Police believe that man and the woman knew each other.

Police investigating robberies, assault, attempted burglary

Police in Baltimore County are investigating a rash of disturbing local robberies, an assault, and an attempted burglary that took place over the weekend.

Many of the alleged incidents involved groups of criminals.

At just after 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, two individuals entered a residence on Control Court in Middle River (21220) via the front door and assaulted both occupants. The suspects stole one victim’s cell phone. Both suspects were identified and arrested.

Sometime between 7 and 10:30 p.m. on Friday, October 27, five individuals entered a residence in the 2100 block of Cockspur Road in Middle River (21220), where they assaulted two victims and stole one victim’s pain medication, a wallet containing cash, and both victims’ cell phones.

At 10:30 p.m. on Friday, approximately 8 to 10 individuals followed a man in the area of North Marlyn Avenue and Stemmers Run Road in Essex (21221) and assaulted him. The suspects stole property from his pockets and then fled on foot.

At 11 p.m. on Friday, three individuals assaulted a man in the 100 block of Orville Road in Essex (21221) with a knife and stole his cell phone, cash, candy, headset, and knife. The suspects then fled.

At 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, two individuals entered a residence in the 7800 block of Oakdale Avenue in Rosedale (21237) via an unlocked door. While inside, the suspects assaulted the victim and stole the victim’s cell phone.

At 8 p.m. on Saturday, a pizza delivery driver for Pizza Sauce LLC was making a delivery in the 6800 block of Golden Ring Road in Rosedale (21237) when a suspect used force to take food from him. Two suspects were arrested.

At just before 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, a man assaulted a woman in the 1300 block of Sugarwood Circle in Essex (21221) and stole an unknown amount of money from the victim’s purse.

At 1:10 a.m. on Monday, October 30, an individual unsuccessfully attempted to pry open the rear door of New Samys Liquor, located in the 7900 block of Belair Road (21236).

At 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, a juvenile was assaulted by three individuals in the area of McClean Boulevard at Perring Parkway in Parkville (21234).  During the assault, one of the suspects attempted to remove the victim’s watch but was stopped by a person driving by.

At 3:15 a.m. on Friday, October 20, a delivery driver was robbed at knifepoint by two individuals in the area of Draper Court at Avery Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspects stole the food being delivered and then fled the scene.

At just after midnight on Saturday, October 21, six individuals approached a man in the 400 block of North Marlyn Avenue in Middle River (21220). The six suspects approached the victim and asked for his cell phone. The suspects then assaulted the victim and took his phone.
