Water main break reported in Nottingham

A Tuesday afternoon water main break in Nottingham is affecting some local residents. The Department of Public Works reports that an eight-inch diameter water main has ruptured in the 8600-block of Manorfield Road (21236). Sixty residents and three hydrants are currently without service. There has been no ETA on repairs. Motorists should use caution in the area.

House fire reported in Nottingham

Crews are on the scene of a Saturday afternoon house fire in Nottingham. At about 1:45 p.m., fire personnel responded to the 8500 block of Manorfield Road, 21236. At the scene, crews found that fire had broken out on the first floor of a two-story dwelling. There are unconfirmed reports of possible persons trapped. Motorists should avoid the area.
