TOWSON, MD—Jay Ringgold, Baltimore County’s Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, has retired after nearly 35 years of service with the Baltimore County Fire Department. NOTTINGHAM, MD – The Federal Emergency Management Agency, along with the Federal Communications Commission, will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, August 7th.
