Video has emerged online from the shooting/stabbing that occurred on The Avenue at White Marsh last week.

Officers initially responded to The Avenue last Friday for a report of shots fired.

They later learned that a 28-year-old male had been stabbed in the leg.


In the video below, which was posted to Facebook, shots can seemingly be heard in the background.

Baltimore County Commission for Women to host diversity discussion at Perry Hall Library

BCCW DiversityThe Baltimore County Commission for Women will present its third interactive panel dicussion on Diversity Dimensions in Perry Hall next month.

Attendees will hear from a group of women who have “been motivated to move beyond simple tolerance and embrace the rich dimensions of diversity.”

Guest panelists will include Baltimore County Judge Vicki Ballou-Watts, Assistant Baltimore County Fire Chief Jennifer Aubert-Utz, and attorney Danette Zaghari-Mask.


The event will be held at the Perry Hall Library on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Registration is required by September 30, 2018.

Police investigating overnight ‘disturbance’ at The Avenue

Police in Baltimore County are investigating an overnight disturbance at The Avenue at White Marsh.

Officers responded to the scene at just before 2 a.m. for an initial report of shots fired.

Dispatchers then reportedly received a call indicating that a man had been shot and taken to a nearby hospital following an altercation.

Detectives responded to the hospital and to The Avenue and determined that the 28-year-old male victim had actually sustained a stab wound to the lower body.

Robbery reported in IKEA parking lot, Carney ATM burglarized

Police LightsPolice are investigating two robberies and a burglary that were reported this month.

At just after 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, three individuals pried open the door of the J Convenience store, located in the 8700-block of Satyr Hill Road in Carney (21234) and then pried open the ATM machine to steal. The suspects then fled the scene.

At 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, two individuals met with a third individual in the IKEA parking lot in the 8300-block of Honeygo Boulevard (21236) in order to buy clothing items. During the exchange, one of the suspects produced a handgun at which time the other suspect grabbed the clothing items, the victim’s cell phone and the victim’s keys from the vehicle. The suspects then fled in a vehicle.

At just after 3:15 p.m. on Friday, September 7, a juvenile was walking in the 3000-block of Woodside Avenue (21234) when he was approached by two individuals who asked to use his phone. When he agreed, one of the suspects assaulted him. The suspects then asked for money. The victim gave the suspects his cash and the suspects fled on foot.

Grand Opening date announced for Bar Louie

Bar Louie Grand OpeningA grand opening date has been announced for Bar Louie on The Avenue at White Marsh.

The big event will be held on Friday, August 31st.

Happy hour patrons (4 to 7 p.m.) will be able to enjoy $3.50 drafts, $4.50 glasses of wine, $5.50 martinis, and half-price appetizers.

The White Marsh location will be Bar Louie’s fifth location in Maryland. There are also locations in Hunt Valley, Owings Mills, Rockville, and Wheaton.

The new Bar Louie is located at 8133-C Honeygo Boulevard on The Avenue at White Marsh.
