NOTTINGHAM, MD—Gunpowder Elementary School was evacuated briefly on Thursday morning. The Baltimore County Fire Department responded to the school after receiving reports of a gas odor, according to Councilman David Marks. The building was evacuated for inspection and the all-clear has now been given for students to re-enter. No injuries have been reported.

FALLSTON, MD—Crews are responding to the scene of a possible hazmat situation in Fallston. At about 8:45 a.m., units responded to Youth’s Benefit Elementary School, located at 1901 Fallston Road.
