Vehicle fire reported in Joppa

FireCrews are on the scene of a Saturday night vehicle fire in the Joppa area.

At about 10:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a vehicle fire along the exit ramp from northbound Interstate 95 to Mountain Road (exit 74).

There has been no word on any injuries.

Fire reported at White Marsh hotel

FireCrews are on the scene of a Monday night hotel fire in White Marsh.

At 11 p.m., units responded to a hotel located on Mercantile Road (21236).

The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company reports that the fire broke out in the hotel laundry room.

Crews from White Marsh, Middle River, and Fullerton responded to the scene.

House fire reported in Overlea

House FireCrews are on the scene of a Thursday night house fire in Overlea.

At just before midnight, fire personnel responded to a home in the 4800-block of Hazelwood Avenue (21206).

At the scene, crews found fire showing from the two-study home.

Several additional fire engines were dispatched and the fire was eventually extinguished.

No injuries were reported.

House fire reported in White Marsh

FireCrews are on the scene of a Wednesday evening house fire in White Marsh/Nottingham.

At about 7:15 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 4300 block of Southfield Drive (21236).

At the scene, crews found that there was a fire on the second floor of a middle-of-group townhouse.

The flames were quickly extinguished.

There has been no word on any injuries.

Police investigating overnight vehicle fires in Bowleys Quarters as arson

ArsonPolice in Baltimore County are investigating a series of overnight vehicle fires in the Bowleys Quarters area as arson.

Fire units responded to four different calls for vehicle fires between the hours of 10 p.m. on Tuesday night and 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning, involving damage to six vehicles.

Two incidents occurred in the 400-block of Carrollwood Road, causing damage to a Cadillac at one location and a Chrysler at another.

In the 300-block of Carroll Island Road, units were dispatched to a boat fire but discovered that a Jeep parked behind the boat was actually set on fire.

In the 3700-block of White Pine Road, an Infiniti and a Suzuki motor bike were set on fire, causing additional fire damage to a Chrysler parked nearby.

Detectives believe that these incidents may be related due to the time frame and area of the fires, but have not yet determined if one or more suspects are responsible for the fires.
