Authorities are investigating after a Whiteford man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Kingsville.
At just after midnight on Monday, police responded to Philadelphia Road near Bradshaw Road after a motorcyclist leaving the Dew Drop Inn collided with the side of 1996 GMC Jimmy traveling eastbound on Philadelphia Road.
The operator of the motorcycle, identified as Paul James Trossbach, 59, of Whiteford, was ejected from the motorcycle, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to Shock Trauma where he died at about 6 p.m. on Monday evening.
The circumstances surrounding this crash continue to be investigated.

Police are investigating after a woman was assaulted and robbed after leaving a Kingsville pub.
At about 7:45 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, a woman was leaving the Dew Drop Inn, located in the 12300 block of Philadelphia Road, 21087.
That’s when authorities say a man stole the woman’s cell phone, then assaulted her.
The man then fled the scene, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Police have not released a description of the suspect due to the ongoing investigation.

Crews were on the scene of a serious accident in Kingsville on Friday evening.
At just before 5:30 p.m., paramedics responded to the 12300 block of Philadelphia Road near the Dew Drop Inn.
At the scene, crews reported a serious accident with one vehicle overturned.
Injuries were reported, but there has been no word as to their security.
Motorists should use caution in the area.
