Driver killed after crashing into Rosedale house

fatal-crashA vehicle crashed into a house in Rosedale late Saturday night, killing the driver.

Police were called to the scene in the 8500 block of Philadelphia Road at at just after 11:30 p.m.

Authorities say the driver was traveling westbound on Philadelphia Road, passing other vehicles, when the driver lost control of his Hyundai Genesis 2H, leaving the roadway and striking a mailbox and fence post before colliding with the concrete foundation of a house.

Baltimore County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The driver has been identified as Gary Wayne Auberg III, 28, of Middle River.

Police believe speed may have been a factor in this fatal crash.

Crash with rollover reported in White Marsh

Crews are on the scene of a Friday morning crash in White Marsh.

At about 10:30 a.m., the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 11300 block of Red Lion Road.

At the scene, crews found a motor vehicle accident with one vehicle overturned.

One patient was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The patient’s dog was transported home.

Pedestrian struck in Rosedale

Emergency crews are on the scene of a Wednesday night accident involving a pedestrian in Rosedale.

At about 9:45 p.m., paramedics responded to the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway.

At the scene, first responders found that a pedestrian had been struck.

EMS personnel are on the scene.

There has been no update on the victim’s condition.

Motorists should use caution in the area.

Police investigating fatal Essex motorcycle crash

fatal-crashPolice are investigating a fatal, Wednesday night motorcycle crash that occurred in Essex.

At about 9:30 p.m., authorities responded to a fatal collision on Eastern Boulevard at Wilbur Road (21221). Investigators have determined that a 2011 Nissan Maxima was traveling west on Eastern Boulevard when the driver attempted to turned left onto Wilbur Road.

The Maxima turned in front of a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle which was traveling in the opposite direction on Eastern Avenue. The driver of the motorcycle struck the other vehicle and was ejected from his bike.

He has been identified as Anthony Hinton, 57, of the 3000-block of Ross Avenue, 21219.  Hinton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
