Police are investigating a robbery and a burglary that were reported in Carney over the past week.
At just before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, an armed individual entered the Carroll Fuel store, located in the 9200-block of Harford Road (21234), jumped the counter, and demanded that the clerk open both cash drawers. The suspect then removed cash from both drawers, grabbed the clerk’s cell phone, and fled in a vehicle.
Sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, October 8, an individual entered a garage door to a home in the 9300-block of Waltham Woods Road (21234) and forced open an inner door to gain entry into the residence. Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry then fled the scene.
Police are investigating a pair of robberies that were reported on Monday.
At just before noon on October 1, an individual entered the Carroll Independent Fuel store located in the 9200-block of Harford Road in Carney (21234) and, at gunpoint, demanded money from the register. The suspect took the cash, then fled in a vehicle.
At just after 4:15 p.m. on Monday, a shotgun was stolen from a fenced-in yard in the 900-block of Arncliffe Road in Essex (21221) by a large group of juveniles and adults. When the victim attempted to retrieve the shotgun from the suspects, he was physically assaulted. All suspects were arrested at the scene.
Police are investigating a trio of local crimes that were reported on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day.
At just after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 24, an individual lunged at another individual in the 2900 block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220) with a knife. The suspect cut the victim and demanded his money. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
At about 6:45 a.m. on Monday, December 25, an armed individual entered the Carroll Fuel gas station located in the 9500 block of Pulaski Highway in Middle River (21220) and demanded that the clerk open the cash register. The suspect took cash from the register and also took the clerk’s purse. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Some of the clerk’s belongings were later recovered.
At just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, an individual entered the OST Trucking Co. Inc., located in the 1200 block of 68th Street in Rosedale (21237) via a window. Once inside, two laptop computers were stolen and the suspects then fled in a vehicle.
Police are investigating two robberies that were reported on Wednesday.
At just before 3:30 a.m., two individuals robbed the Carroll Fuel station located in the 100 block of Back River Neck Road in Essex (21221). The suspects stole cash and then fled the scene.
At just before 11 a.m., an individual entered the J&J Wine & Spirits located in the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road in White Marsh (21162), demanded money, stole the cash register drawer, and then fled.
No one was injured in either incident. Police are investigating.
