At just before 6:15 p.m., the Providence Volunteer Fire Company reports that a boat came off its trailer along the outer loop at Providence Road. The two right lanes along the outer loop are blocked. Motorists should use caution in the area.

ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Friday afternoon boat fire in Essex. The fire was reported at around 1 p.m. near Nanticoke Road (21221).
