ESSEX, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Friday afternoon boat fire in Essex. The fire was reported at around 1 p.m. near Nanticoke Road (21221). Arriving units found smoke showing from a 40-foot boat in the water. All occupants are reportedly off of the boat at this time. There has been no word on any injuries.
