Baltimore County police were on the scene of a shooting in Carney on Monday evening.

At about 7 p.m., officers responded to the area of Cody Avenue in the Seven Courts area for a report of shots fired, according to Baltimore County Breaking News.

Arriving personnel found a victim at the scene who had been shot multiple times.

The suspect is said to have fled the scene.

The extent of any injuries is not known at present, but the victim is being flown to Shock Trauma.
