UPDATE: The Baltimore County Fire Department reports that one civilian and two firefighters have been taken to nearby hospitals. Nine adult and five children have been displaced and are working with the Red Cross.

MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Crews battled a two-alarm house fire in Middle River on Saturday morning.

At around 5:45 a.m. on June 24, 2023, units responded to the 9800-block of Decatur Road (21220).

Firefighters arrived to find fire through the roof and a second alarm was quickly sounded.

The blaze left several people injured, including one person who jumped from a window, according to the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
