JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a brush fire in the Joppa area.

The fire was reported at just before noon on Sunday in the 200-block of Garnett Road, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

With dry conditions, low humidity, and windy conditions in the area, officials say outdoor burning is not recommended on Sunday.

There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.
