BALTIMORE, MD—Police say three juveniles were arrested & will be charged and weapons were seized following Friday’s high-speed chase on I-695 in Baltimore County.
At around 12:15 p.m. on September 16, 2022, a Baltimore Police Department officer’s license plate reader alerted them to a vehicle that was wanted in connection to an armed robbery. The occupants of the vehicle saw the police presence and attempted to flee.
The vehicle fled via multiple highways, driving recklessly and striking a civilian vehicle in an attempt to evade police. A Baltimore County Police Department helicopter assisted with visual air support.
The incident ended on northbound I-83 near the Padonia Road ramp in Timonium.
Two 15-year-old males and a 17-year-old male were taken into custody. Officers recovered three loaded handguns and suspected marijuana. The three male juveniles will be transported and formally charged.
