ESSEX, MD—Police in Baltimore County say a dead body was found in Essex on Sunday.

At around 11:00 a.m. on July 31, homicide detectives responded to the 1400-block of Diffendall Road (21221) for a report of a dead body on the side of the road.

The decomposing body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. Currently, the identity of the male is unknown.
