WHITE MARSH, MD—Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a carjacking that occurred in White Marsh on Sunday.

On June 13, detectives apprehended and charged 35-year-old Charles Hoffman with carjacking, robbery, assault, and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft.

At around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, Hoffman approached an individual in the 5300-block of Nottingridge Road (21162) and asked for a ride. When the individual refused, he assaulted them, and stole their vehicle.

Charles Hoffman is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
