NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for the Baltimore area.

The advisory covers northern Baltimore County and Harford County and will be in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. on Monday morning.

Temperatures falling to around 33 to 36 degrees overnight will result in frost formation.  Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.

Residents should take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
