JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a serious, Sunday afternoon ATV accident in Joppa.

At just before 3 p.m., crews responded to an ATV crash in the area of Old Joppa Road at Jomat Drive (21085).

One adult male has reportedly sustained serious injuries and a medevac chopper is being dispatched.

Old Joppa Road has been shut down, according to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

Motorists should avoid the area.
