NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Baltimore area.
In southern Baltimore County and Baltimore City, the advisory will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. In northern Baltimore County, the advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Forecasters say snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible, with locally higher amounts of around three inches possible.
Motorists should expect slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will likely impact the Thursday morning commute.
Precipitation will start as rain and then switch over to snow during the Thursday morning commute.
