Suspect arrested following failed Hillendale carjacking attempt, Rosedale business robbed

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported this month.

At just after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, two individuals entered a business in the 7500-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and stole cash.

At just after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, an individual approached a vehicle in the 1700-block of Goodview Road in Hillendale (21234) and attempted to carjack the victim. The suspect failed and fled the scene. Officers later arrested the suspect.

At just after 2 p.m. on Friday, January 14, several laptops were reported missing from a business in the unit block of Spindrift Circle in Carney (21234).

At around 6 p.m. on Friday, armed individuals stole belongings from a vehicle in the 600-block of Compass Road in Middle River (21220).  The suspect left prior to police arrival.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, an individual choked the victim and stole their phone in the unit block of Dowling Circle in Hillendale (21234).  The suspect fled the scene on foot.
