UPDATE: The address of this vacant barn fire has been updated to 1215 Raspe Lane.  An investigation is under way.  Anyone with information on this fire is asked to call 410-386-3050.

JOPPA, MD—Route 7 has been shut down due to a Wednesday night fire in the Joppa area.

The fire was reported at around 10:15 p.m. in the 1800-block of Philadelphia Road.

Crews arrived to find a barn on fire as well as a nearby out-building.

Route 7 has been shut down from Clayton Road to Fashion Way.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
