ESSEX, MD—Police have arrested and charged a man following a fatal stabbing in Essex.

At around 1 p.m. on Monday, December 27, officers responded to the unit block of Moline Circle (21221) for a stabbing.

Upon arrival, authorities located the victim, 32-year-old Dominic Thornton.

Medics transported Thornton to an area hospital where he died from his injury.

Homicide detectives have arrested 24-year-old Diamond A. Dingle and charged him with first-degree murder.

Dingle is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
