JOPPA, MD—Police are on the scene of a fatal, Sunday evening crash in Joppa.

The crash was reported at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Philadelphia Road at Fashion Way.

The crash involved a pedestrian, who was reportedly struck and dragged by a vehicle.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries.

Route 7 will be closed for an extended period of time.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
