CARNEY, MD—Police responded to an unusual incident in Carney on Tuesday evening.

At just after 7 p.m. on November 16, officers were dispatched for a report of a naked white, male in his 50s walking down the 2500 block of E. Joppa Road (21234).

A police spokesperson told NottinghamMD.com that the subject entered the Royal Farms store located at at 2410 E. Joppa Road, and when officers arrived they observed that the man was talking to himself.

Officers then placed handcuffs on the man and escorted him to an ambulance that was waiting outside.

The man was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and the scene was cleared without incident.
