Councilman Marks: Traffic calming planned for Nottingham neighborhood

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks on Monday announced that traffic calming has been approved for Fieldchat Road (21236), which connects Joppa Road and Ebenezer Road.

Two speed bumps will be constructed along this Perry Hall/Nottingham route.

“I am pleased to announce this latest effort to reduce speeding in our neighborhoods, which should help slow traffic along one of Perry Hall’s busiest streets,” said Councilman Marks. “Speeding is continually ranked as one of the biggest concerns for residents, and these efforts do help to calm traffic activity.”

Councilman Marks thanked the Department of Public Works for its assistance, and Amie Forish and neighbors from Fieldchat Road for collecting signatures.

Residents may apply for traffic calming by visiting https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/publicworks/traffic/traffic_calming.html.

Other areas that have received traffic calming in the Fifth District include Snyder Lane, Baker Lane, Schroeder Avenue, Klausmier Road, Stevenson Lane, and Pleasant Plains Road.
