NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the Baltimore metro area.

The advisory will remain in effect until 9 a.m. on Thursday.

Forecasters say to expect visibility of one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

Hazardous driving conditions are likely due to low visibility.

If driving, motorists are encouraged to slow down, use headlights, and leave plenty of stopping distance.
