NOTTINGHAM, MD—The ribbon has been cut and ZIPS’ new location in the Perry Hall is now open for business.
The dry cleaning shop held a grand opening bash on Saturday in the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center.
The event featured a ribbon-cutting, therapy pets for photos, a fire truck, national champion sign spinners, and giveaways.
ZIPS cleans any garment for $2.79, every day. They also offer laundry services.
The new location offers the same “in by 9, out by 5” service that ZIPS customers know and love. It’s owned and operated by Al & Millicent Holcomb, who also own the ZIPS in Bel Air, MD. They’re dedicated to their community, supporting local schools and community groups every day. Uniforms for first responders and military members are always cleaned at a 25% discount, and they are partnering with a nonprofit that serves the local community each quarter, too. White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company was their first nonprofit partner, and Pets on Wheels is their second.
“Happy to help cut the ribbon at the ZIPS Perry Hall Grand Opening Extravaganza,” said Councilman David Marks. “This new store is part of a revitalized Perry Hall Square Shopping Center. Many thanks to ZIPS for supporting groups such as Pets on Wheels and the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.”
