NOTTINGHAM, MD—Storms are once again possible in the Nottingham area on Friday, then things will heat up for the weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of southern Maryland on Friday, and there is a slight chance of storms in the Nottingham area on Friday afternoon and evening.

Heading into the weekend, things will begin to warm up.

Forecasters say high temperatures will be right around 90 degrees from Saturday through at least mid-week.
