Rosedale Royal Farms robbed, Nottingham man assaulted in his apartment

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating three local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 and 8 p.m. on Monday, May 3, an individual broke into a residence in the 5700-block of Kenwood Avenue (21206) by breaking a sliding glass door. The suspect stole firearms and coins, then fled the scene.

At 2 p.m. on Monday, May 3, an individual forced his way into an apartment in the 8800-block of Blairwood Road (21236) after the occupant opened the door. The suspect was looking for an unrelated subject, then the suspect assaulted the victim and left the location.

At just after 5:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, an individual entered the Royal Farms located in the 8800-block of Philadelphia Road (21237), walked behind the counter, and demanded that the cashier give him money from the safe. The cashier complied and the suspect then fled.
