NOTTINGHAM, MD—Loud noise alert!

Aberdeen Proving Ground officials announced on Tuesday that the base would be conducting daytime and nighttime firing tests this week.

The testing is scheduled for April 13-16, 2021, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST.

Loud noises may be heard in some areas surrounding the installation.

Officials say these operations are not hazardous to residents in surrounding communities and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members.
