Carjacking reported in Rosedale, vehicle stolen during Hillendale burglary

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating two local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, a known individual forced his way into a home in the unit block of Dowling Circle in Hillendale (21234) and a physical altercation ensued.

The suspect stole the victim’s vehicle and then fled the scene.

At 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, a man was in his apartment parking garage in the 8500-block of Upton Circle in Rosedale (21237) when he was approached by three unknown suspects. One armed suspect threatened the victim.

The victim was assaulted and his belongings were stolen along with his vehicle.  The suspects then fled the scene.
