NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has expanded and extended Monday’s Winter Weather Advisory.

The advisory now covers all counties shown in blue in the graphic and will expire at 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

The rapid onset of snow has resulted in snow covered roadways. Snow accumulations of 1 – 3 inches is possible

Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions and use caution when traveling.

The hazardous conditions will impact the morning or evening commute.

When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
