NOTTINGHAM, MD—Belair Road has reopened to traffic following a major water main break and replacement.

The busy thoroughfare had been closed since Thursday, after a water main ruptured in the area of Olde Forge Lane (21236).

Route 1 had been closed in both directions between Necker Avenue and Klosterman Avenue after a 12-inch main ruptured.

The roadway was reopened at around 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
