ROSEDALE, MD—Police are investigating an assault and attempted robbery that occurred at a Rosedale motel last week.

At 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, a dissatisfied guest at the Regal Inn & Suites, located in the 8000-block of Pulaski Highway (21237), assaulted a hotel employee.

The suspect then attempted to steal cash from the employees pocket before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

A residential burglary was also reported in Rosedale at just after 11:45 p.m. on Friday, October 30, after an individual entered a residence in the unit block of Paula Place (21237) and stole a firearm.
