ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the Maryland State Flag to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, September 26, 2020.

Saturday is the day of interment for former State Delegate Joseph V. Lutz.

Delegate Lutz passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 and represented Legislative District 35A.

Both the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag will continue to be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

A separate notice that will state when to raise both flags will be distributed in the days ahead.
