NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the Nottimgham area.
The warning will be in effect until 6:45 p.m. and covers Parkville, Carney, Perry Hall, White Marsh, and Nottingham.
At 6:05 p.m., a large thunderstorm had formed over the White Marsh area and was largely stationary.
Wind gusts of up to 65 MPH are possible along with half dollar sized hail.
Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
