ESSEX, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department promoted three police officers on Tuesday.

The promotions were held outside of the Public Safety Building located at 700 East Joppa Road in Towson.

Due to COVID-19, the attendance at the promotion ceremony was limited.

These officers will be honored at the next formal promotion ceremony in front of their family, friends, and colleagues when the need for social distancing has passed.

The following officers were promoted:

• Corporal Stephen Roesler is being promoted to Sergeant and is assigned to the Operations Bureau
• Officer Jesse Callas is being promoted to Corporal is assigned to Precinct 11 Essex
• Officer Phillip Wright is being promoted to Corporal and is assigned to Precinct 12 Dundalk
